Art and Nature - Trail 1

Thursdays, 14th and 28th September, 2017  1:30 to 3:00pm

Park your car at the Warwick Sports Centre on Lloyd Drive. Look for the Friends of Warwick Bushland banner.

Bring a folder chair and your own art materials.

Join us in a relaxed art session while enjoying the outdoors. Sketch and draw from nature.

  • TOUCH-SEE-SMELL: Wednesday, 4th October, 2017 at 10:00 to 11:15am (school holidays) This is a sensory awareness session in the bushland. You will be surprised what you have been missing. Together we will make a bush potpouri.

Meet in the Warwick Bowling Club carpark in LLloyd Drive.

  •  WEEDS:  on Wednesday, 20th September, 2017 at 10:00 to 11:15am,
    Find out how to identify weeds in the bushland and how to help remove them.

  • HABITATS on Wednesday, 27th September, 2017 at 10:00 to 11:15 am (school holidays)
    We will be looking and talking about habits of birds and insects in the bushland. Suitable for kids on school holidays so come along.

  • Warwick Seniour High School - August : School staff exploration of bushland with Karen Clarke, ecologist and previous long term Friend coordinator and advisor.

  • Scouts - October : Removing pink gladiolus and litter pick up.

  • November Spring Open Day - Saturday, November 4th, 2017 : The Hamersley Habitat Community Garden. 10am - 3:00pm
